- Official Contest Rules
These are the Official Win a New Showplace Kitchen Contest Rules (the “Contest”) sponsored by Ronald McDonald House of Scranton, Inc., 332 Wheeler Avenue, Scranton, PA 18510 (“Charity”). Presented by Showplace Cabinetry and Marriotti Building Products (“Presenters”), who are held harmless from any and all claims related to this Contest. - Eligibility
Open to legal residents of Pennsylvania who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry, except where prohibited by law. Officers, employees, board members of the Charity, and members of their immediate households are not eligible to win. - Contest Period
The Contest begins October 1, 2025, and ends at 11:59 p.m. EST on May 15, 2026 (“Contest Period”). - How to Enter
Eligible persons may obtain official numbered contest tickets from the Charity during the Contest Period. Tickets are provided in recognition of a voluntary donation to the Ronald McDonald House of Scranton, Inc. and are not a purchase. The number of tickets given corresponds to the donation amount as follows:
- 1 ticket for a $50 donation
- 25 tickets for a $100 donation
- 200 tickets for a $200 donation
Ticket numbers will be delivered by mail or email. Limit: no more than 600 tickets per person during the Contest Period. Any attempt to circumvent entry limits will void all associated entries.
- No Purchase Necessary
No purchase or donation is necessary to receive a ticket. A person may request one ticket by mailing a written request to: Ronald McDonald House of Scranton, 332 Wheeler Avenue, Scranton, PA 18510. The request must include a self-addressed stamped envelope and a separate return envelope with full first-class postage affixed, along with a letter stating that they would like to receive one contest ticket. Requests must be received no later than May 8, 2026. - Winner Selection
One Grand Prize Winner will be randomly selected from all eligible tickets on or about May 22, 2026, at the Ronald McDonald House of Scranton. Winner need not be present. - Grand Prize
The Grand Prize is a Showplace kitchen and countertops with basic installation, valued at $35,000. Prize must be accepted as awarded and is not redeemable for cash. Any upgrades, modifications, or additional work beyond the basic installation are at the sole expense of the winner. Showplace Cabinetry and Marriotti Building Products are held harmless for any claims, damages, or liabilities related to the prize. - Taxes and Fees
Winner is responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, permits, and fees. The Charity may require estimated taxes to be paid before awarding the prize. - Release
By entering, contestants agree to release and hold harmless the Charity, the Presenters, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims or damages arising from participation or prize use. - Publicity
By accepting the prize, the winner grants permission to the Charity and Presenters to use their name, likeness, and city of residence for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. - General Conditions
Void where prohibited by law. The Charity reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if necessary. All decisions by the Charity are final. - Refunds
All ticket donations are final and non-refundable.
